Travel to Beedelup Falls - Greater Beedelup National Park
With an easy 300m walk from the car park, you don't have an excuse to miss Beedelup Falls! Location: Greater Beedelup National Park, 328km south of Perth, Western Australia The drive to Beedelup Falls is just as beautiful as the walk itself with the Falls just one of the spectacular sites along the 86km Karri Forest Explorer. Once you get to the carpark, a short walk to a few picnic tables is a great spot for your lunch. A few minutes later, you will find the suspension bridge which takes you across Beedelup Brook with views of Ferny Creek at a height which makes you squeamish! Especially when you have a 2 year old swinging and jumping in the middle like it's a trampoline! If you are up for a longer walk, there is a 4.5km moderately hard trail which takes your through the Karri Forest via the Dam Wall, however if you're like me and a short walk is available, the Beedelup Falls will not disappoint you. We visited the falls in July and it was bitterly cold, therefore rug up, bring your thermals and take the opportunity to see Beedelup Falls and the Greater Beedelup National Park when you get a chance.
