Travel to hear the Kangaroo River splash over Carrington Falls
I love waterfalls. There is something magical about walking on a track and hearing the thunderous falls getting closer and closer. When you finally see the falls, the grandeur of the environment always blows my breath away. Carrington Falls in Budderoo National Park is no exception. 32km out of Kiama, New South Wales, Carrington Falls was an easy 500m walk, and gave us spectacular views of the surrounding gully and the 50m drop into the pool below. Our 5 year old Princess loved the walk as did we and she was in awe when we eventually got to the falls. It was a little nippy once we caught our breath but the previous days rains allowed for the falls to look fuller than normal. The loop walk takes you through the gully to the lookout, and then a further short walk to the top of the falls. How to get to Carrington Falls The Loop Walk starts from the northern car park off Jamberoo Mount Road which is approximately 50min west of Kiama.
