Travel guide -the best playground in Sydney

The second night sleep in the van was equally as comfortable as the first, without the paranoia. I was parked directly opposite the skate park on Bondi Beach, New South Wales which came with the skateboarding noises till pretty late, and very early in the morning, however the sound of the ocean was very calming. After the shower last night, I got into bed feeling clean and woke up feeling like it was the middle of the night, except when I looked at my phone it was 8:30am and 21 Degrees Celcius! I really must get a thermometer for inside the van, as it was quite comfortable, and I totally underestimated the quality that insulation brings to a nights sleep. I decided to take a walk to Mackenzies Point between Bondi Beach and Tamarama Heads. You can walk across the rocky shoreline, then down into the tidal pools. The tide wasn't quite receded enough to take a swim in the pools, however it was still very scenic. On the way back from the point, I was taking a photo of one of the rocks and a gust of wind blew my iPhone 7Plus out of my hands and onto the concrete walkway. Luckily, I had a screen protector and a cover on it, however it appears my rear camera has sh*t itself. I guess I will have to take a trip to Apple to get it repaired. What's a holiday without breaking or losing something right? Determined to not let my damaged iPhone ruin my day, I found Blaxland Park, approx, 30kms outside of Sydney, which has been honoured with the reputation of being Sydney's best park, which it lived up to. The span of the park is enormous, from spriling hills, a water fountain play area, climbing tower and flying foxes, and coupled with free parking, and being dog leash friendly, it was the perfect day to spend a day without spending any money! I caught up with an old friend and watched the kids play on Watson's Beach and a Pelican pose for the tourists photos and then toured around the Watson's Bay War memorial area to watch the sunset.
As the sun dissapeared below the horizon, it was then I was blown away by the heights and city skyline in the streets between Watson's Bay and Bondi Beach. The scenic drive is a must if you are in the area. Seriously beautiful.
Safely back on Bondi Beach for the night, Princess, Bailey and I mucked around on the sand until it was time for a shower, then bed.
