The Gold Coast is an amazing place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. My favourite places on the Gold Coast are:
- Surfers Paradise beach and Cavill Avenue shopping strip
- The Surfers Paradise Beach Café on the Esplanade (The iced coffee and pancakes are amazing)
- Broadbeach beach and the foreshore kids playground (Massive slide!)
- Pacific Fair Shopping Centre
- Harbour Town Shopping Centre (Find a bargain at the DFO outlets)
- Robina Shopping Centre
- SeaWorld & Wet 'N' Wild (Great for kids, especially under 12 years old)
- Soul hotel
- Treasure Island Caravan Park
- Main Beach Caravan Park
The atmosphere in Surfers Paradise is addictive. I have been to the Gold Coast more than a dozen times and each time, I don't want to leave. Most visits I look for places to live! It's not cheap to visit, however towards Harbour Town shopping centre, Treasure Island Caravan Park is excellent for kids, they have a Waterpark which rivals most and a lot of activities to keep the little ones happy, and parents relaxed. Main Beach Caravan Park is also great and within walking distance to Surfers Paradise and the Surf club across the road is great for lunch and dinner.
